The song, Mile Sur Mera Tumhara was created in 1988 and aired on 15th August (Independence Day) on Doordarshan. Mile Sur Mera Tumhara featured National icons like Amitabh Bachchan, Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Kamal Hassan, Lata Mangeshkar, Pt. Bhimsen Joshi and many more.
